President Ivo Josipovic extended his best wishes for Christmas to all Christian believers in Croatia who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.
"Christian believers make up a majority of the Croatian population and in various areas of social life they contribute to the common good of the Croatian society. I believe that this year too the joyful atmosphere of Christmas and its spiritual and deeply human message will provide impetus to the further promotion of socially responsible behaviour, tolerance, peace and cooperation," President Josipovic said in his message.
